MPLS Network Providers
What is an MPLS network?
MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) is a standards-based technology used to speed up the delivery of network packets. Best for businesses with multiple sites or locations, it provides a private network shared among two or more locations where data traveling across the network can be labeled (as, voice, video, etc.) and prioritized by the routers which are configured to recognized data labels (or packet labels). MPLS is a more efficient way of both routing and forwarding packets, so that your data traffic is properly prioritized.
Why is MPLS important?
Due to data being passed via private WAN, there is no need to encrypt data, and the routers do not need to "think" about what each data packet is which reduces latency. This ensures quality of service, availability of priority data traffic, and continuity across the network. The local loop is the only liability with MPLS because traffic can be re-routed through another tunnel on the network.
How can a MPLS network help your business?
An MPLS networking solution helps your business better manage your network. MPLS provides a centralized management environment with the need for only one firewall at the host location as opposed to managing individual firewalls at each site. An IP VPN network, for example, does require firewalls at each location. By developing a custom MPLS network solution, you are able to prioritize voice and data, and receive a private and secure networking solution over a cutting-edge network.
Benefits of MPLS include:
- Decrease in network management costs
- Easily add bandwidth to new locations
- Faster speed
- Higher security
- Traffic is prioritized by customer's preference
- Networks are self-healing and more resilient
- Proactive monitoring
- QoS (Quality of Service)
- Disaster Recovery

Where do we come in?
CCS helps the client by coming up with the best design and network infrastructure based on a client's needs. We do this by meeting with the client at their location, doing a site survey of existing infrastructure today, and discussing where the client wants to be in the next few years (location, growth, multi-site, etc.) Once CCS and the client decide on the best solution, we will proactively monitor your system and network and work with the service providers from Day 1 to ensure the client is completely satisfied. By working with CCS and not directly with the service provider, there are several advantages:
- We are unbiased and agnostic
- We work with MPLS network service providers nationwide
- We have an in-house support desk to assist with any new installs, upgrades, migrations, demarcation extensions, and any changes to your services
- We have a larger variety of options as we work with multiple service providers
