What You Need to Know About the Apple Watch
Apple has finally announced when the Apple Watch, its newest product, will go on the market. If you’ve been following the company, you’ll know that the pre-orders start April 10 and the device will start shipping on April 24. But what else do you need to know?
The Price
The price range for the Apple Watch is extensive, ranging from $349 to $10,000, depending on which style of watch you choose. The Watch Edition is a collection that features eight styles that are crafted from 18-karat gold. These are the most expensive, costing a cool $10,000. The watch also comes with a stainless steel case or an aluminum case.

The Apps
This obviously is not your classic watch, and therefore will come with many more features and functions. Apple Watch owners will be able to engage in social media, set alarms, check the weather, track their health and much more just through the watch. There’s even an app for couples, who can send their heartbeat vibrations to their significant other, so long as they both own the Apple Watch.
Battery Life
Although there were rumors about Apple struggling to get the watch’s battery lifespan to last a reasonable amount of time, Apple now states the watch can last up to 18 hours without being charged. This amount of time is long enough for Apple to consider it an “all-day battery”.
