Avaya unveiled two new video devices: A new Avaya Huddle Camera HC010 and a redesigned Avaya Vantage™ K155 with Amazon Alexa built-in.
2. “Avaya Recognizes Outstanding Canadian Partners Driving Customer Success, Digital Transformation and Cloud Communications”
Avaya honored five organizations in the Avaya Canada Partner of the Year Awards: Connex as Canada Partner of the Year and Avaya OneCloud Subscription™ Partner of the Year; TA Networks as Midmarket Partner of the Year; Bell MTS as Avaya OneCloud Services Partner of the Year; Digitcom Telecommunications Canada as Avaya OneCloud Public Cloud Partner of the Year; and Bell Canada as Service Provider of the Year.

Avaya distributed Avaya U.S. Partner of the Year Awards to four U.S. partners: VOX Network Solutions as U.S. Partner of the Year and Midmarket Partner of the Year; ConvergeOne as Avaya Cloud Office Partner of the Year, Avaya OneCloud Services Partner of the Year, Avaya OneCloud Public Cloud Partner of the Year, and Avaya OneCloud Subscription Partner of the Year; AT&T as Service Provider of the Year; and Optivor Technologies as Federal Service Partner of the Year.

Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral became generally available in Portugal this month. Other markets the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution is available in include the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, the U.K., the Netherlands, Australia, Austria and Belgium.
5. “Israel’s Social Security Administration Doubles Customer Service Capability, Enables Remote Work for 700 Agents with Avaya Contact Center Solutions”
Israel’s Social Security Administration was able to rapidly implement a remote work strategy with the Avaya OneCloud Contact Center platform.
6. “Avaya Appoints Darcey Harrison to Accelerate Cloud Adoption in North America, Guiding Customers on their Journey to Cloud Communications and Digital Transformation”
The supplier has designated Darcey Harrison as vice president of cloud acceleration for North America. She will oversee the ongoing expansion of existing client adoption of Avaya OneCloud products.
