In Avaya news for February 2024, Converged Communication Systems (CCS) assisted a client who wanted to reverse a migration from Avaya IP Office to Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). The CCS team also helped a large healthcare provider by extending their phone system to a newly acquired building.
Additionally, Avaya CEO Alan Masarek and other Avaya executives spoke at ITEXPO 2024, one of the world’s largest and longest-running technology conferences. Keep reading for details.
CCS and Avaya monthly wins
The CCS staff assisted Avaya clients in the following ways in the past month.
- A client moved from an Avaya IP Office to a UCaaS platform/cloud telephone system. They realized they made a mistake and needed to migrate back to their on-premises IP Office system. CCS saved the day and rapidly located the necessary hardware, software, and licensing. We re-built the Avaya IP Office on-premises solution from scratch. In addition, our providers were able to quickly deploy internet and dial tone for the facility.
- A large healthcare facility needed to extend their telephone system to a new building they acquired. The challenge was that no cable or fiber connected in the building. The infrastructure team at CCS devised a strategy to construct a solid building-to-building network that leveraged line of sight connectivity, which provided the necessary communication link to add remote IP Phones.
