Avaya News February 2021: CCS Team Revamps Client’s Communications With IP Office Server Edition

In Avaya news for February 2021, the Converged Communication Systems (CCS) team replaced a client’s severely outdated hardware with Avaya IP Office Server Edition, ensuring that they have a modern and reliable communications system in place. Additionally, Avaya released financial results for the first quarter of the 2021 fiscal year. Keep reading for more Avaya-related news and updates.

CCS and Avaya Monthly Wins

The CCS team enhanced communication capabilities for a couple of our clients in the past month with Avaya solutions.

1. Upgrading a Railway Company to IP Office Server Edition
This client was utilizing legacy hardware that was more than a decade old. The CCS team carried out a major upgrade and implemented Avaya IP Office Server Edition to get their communication capabilities up to date. We worked with their IT team and designed a highly reliable and redundant system for them. They already had robust VMware infrastructure that they were able to leverage and move their Avaya telephony platform onto. This allowed for greater reliability and more uptime.

We’re also providing ongoing maintenance services. Now their current manager can retire confident that the railway is in good hands.

2. Upgrading an Investment Firm to a More Stable Mobile Application
This client was looking for a more reliable mobile app. After testing Avaya IX Workplace, they decided to move forward with an upgrade, in addition to renewing contracts for hosting services and maintenance with CCS in our virtual private cloud.

FourNet and Prodec Networks – both based in the U.K. – decided to add Avaya OneCloud Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) to their solution portfolios.

4. “PlanetOne Adds Avaya to its Preferred Provider Program
Avaya has become part of the PlanetOne Preferred Provider Program. PlanetOne will now give its agents and solution provider partners access to Avaya OneCloud CCaaS contact center solutions and Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral.

5. “Engagent Health Addresses Critical Need for Healthcare Accessibility With Avaya OneCloud
Engagent Health – which delivers solutions for organizations in the health insurance space – has leveraged Avaya OneCloud CCaaS, Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral, and Avaya OneCloud Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) to boost care plan engagement by 80 percent.

6. “Avaya Announces New AI Capabilities to Improve Customer Experience, with More Powerful Virtual Agents Integrating with Google Cloud Dialogflow CX
The supplier has added Avaya AI Virtual Agent Advanced to OneCloud CCaaS and CPaaS. This human-like AI feature utilizes Google Cloud Dialogflow CX to drive efficiency and better customer experiences.

7. “Driving AI Innovation for the Future of Customer Experience, Avaya Receives 600th Contact Center Technologies Patent in its Avaya OneCloud™ CCaaS Portfolio
For its innovative AI-powered OneCloud CCaaS portfolio, Avaya has now received 600 contact center technology patents.
