Avaya news April 2023: Avaya earns recognition for UCaaS, CCaaS offerings

Since we posted our last monthly Avaya blog, the provider has released the following news:
1. “Avaya Named to Constellation Research ShortList™ for Contact Center as a Service Solutions (CCaaS)”
Constellation Research’s ShortList for Contact Center as a Service includes suppliers across various market categories relevant to early adopters. Avaya Experience Platform supports personalized agent and customer experiences with a customizable workspace.
2. “Stemmer Distribution Optimizes Communications Infrastructure with Avaya – Delivering 50% Cost Savings and Enhanced Employee Experiences”
Stemmer, France’s largest dental product provider, deployed Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral for 250 employees at six business units by working with Avaya partner Artelcom.

Avaya Cloud Office made the Constellation ShortList for UCaaS platforms. Constellation created the list based on feedback from early adopters, briefings with suppliers and partners, and independent analysis.

CRN gives 5-star ratings to organizations demonstrating an outstanding ability to form and maintain profitable channel partnerships. Avaya’s program includes approximately 4,600 partners worldwide and extends sales and marketing help, financial assistance, technical support, training and certification, and other benefits to members.
6. “Avaya Completes Last Major Milestone of Financial Restructuring; Secures Court Confirmation of Prepackaged Restructuring Plan on an Accelerated Basis”
The prepackaged Plan of Reorganization has been confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. It will result in a more than 75 percent reduction in total debt for Avaya.
7. “Avaya Experience Platform (AXP) launches in Australia and New Zealand”
Organizations in Australia and New Zealand can now leverage Avaya Experience Platform across public, private and hybrid cloud working environments. End users can chat, message, send files, and make and take calls from the application.
