Avaya Communication Manager G700 Media Gateway (For Use With Avaya Media Servers)

Avaya Communication Manager enterprise solution has flexible Media Server and Media Gateway options for companies of different sizes and redundancy options. Avaya Communication Manager software suite supports advanced features for enterprise business telephone systems with the ability for digital, analog and IP endpoints.
Extension Capacity (ACM R4.0): 40-450 extension environment
Processor Uses:Standalone (ICC – internal call controller) and LSP (Local Survivable Processor)
Blades for traditional connections: The G700 uses modules (MM or media modules) shared with G350 gateway for analog, digital, Ethernet and trunking options and s8300 media server blade.
Evolution of the product:
- G700 for Avaya Communication Manager 5.0: XoIP tone detection to help VoIP resources and tone detection.
- G700 with ACM R4.0: RoHS compliant chassis, increased module support, AES-128 media encryption for RTP, SRTP support, and DTMF ABCD tone dialing support.
- G700 with ACM R3.1: new MM716 24 port analog extension media module, Caller-ID support for call waiting on MM711, MM714, MM716 and g.726A codec support.
- G700 with ACM R3.0 (Avaya Definity R13.0 or Avaya Multivantage R13.0): Enhanced fail over with IGAR (inter-gateway alternative routing) to provide better options.
- G700 with ACM R2.0 & R2.1 (Avaya Definity R12.0 & 12.1 or Avaya Multivantage R13.0): New media module (MM714 4+4 analog ext and CO line, MM717 24 port digital extension card, and more), enhanced VoIP monitoring with path removal is out of service, better bandwidth management with call admission control and up to 50 LSP supported per s8300 media server.
- G700 with ACM R1.0 (Avaya Definity R11.0 or Avaya Multivantage R11.0): Capacity improvements, roll out of media modules, embedded VAL announcement increase to 250, IA770 roll out (Intuity Audix 5.1 Internal blade 770) and enhancements, and more.
The Avaya Multivantage
Before ACM R1.0, Avaya Communication Manager aka Avaya Multivantage Software aka Avaya Definity did not have rack mountable solution other than IP600 that allowed traditional Avaya Definity blades. If you are an existing Avaya Definity customer and looking for a solution keep try to re-use some of your traditional circuit packs, please contact CCS Sales group for more information. We have G650 rack mount cabinets that allow for certain migration.
