In October 2019, Avaya and RingCentral announced a strategic partnership which introduced a new global solution for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) called Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral (ACO). Avaya is expected to launch ACO in the first quarter of 2020.
ACO combines RingCentral's leading UCaaS platform with Avaya technology services and migration capabilities to create a highly differentiated UCaaS offering.
Avaya Cloud Office expands Avaya's portfolio to offer UC, contact center (CC), UCaaS and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions to its customer base, Avaya's offerings will now include a full suite of public, private and hybrid cloud solutions for its global UC and CC customers and partners.
Additionally, Avaya and RingCentral will continue to develop programs aimed at automating the transition for current Avaya customers to the new RingCentral-based ACO solution. They're committed to leveraging existing solutions to simplify and reduce the timeframe of cloud migration.
