Softphone applications have been prevelant in the telecommunication industry for home or remote workers. These users would install an application on their PC and make and take calls from their PC as if there were in the office. The PC application or web browser would allow for full functionality allowing ultimate call control. The One-X Mobile works with Extension to Cellular feature on the Avaya Communication Manager and the Mobile Twinning or bridging feature on the Avaya IP Office IP500 Unit.
